As a parent, we must be careful how we teach our children. It is important to use positive words, when teaching our children, and choose them carefully. When a child is little, you are their world. They look up to you, and want to be like you. The words we speak to our little ones, can mean a great deal to there little hearts. It is easy to point out what they do wrong, but we must remember to praise them for the good things they do too. This can help build their self esteem and can teach them just as well (if not better) than using criticizing words only. Children are such blessings, and gifts, and we must remember to be careful to build them up, not just tear them down. So the next time you go to the store, and your child is good, make a point to tell them how proud that made you!
